  My husband & I went to this Costco for a large piece of furniture. We have been members for years and shop at other ones of their stores. We got the huge box home and upstairs , opened the box to find it had been cut with maybe a box cutter on the leather. We boxed it and brought this heavy heavy box back to customer service. The customer service person Amy was rude and yelled for others to come around us in line. She gave us nasty looks and I noticed her name was covered. Thankfully there was another girl, Heather there to help us. She was very courteous and helpful. She asked 2 employees to help us with another boxed item to replace it. These 2 guys opened the box and we checked for any damage.. After checking we asked if they could tape the box shut so we could transport the item. They said lazily go to the customer service they have tape. Really?? We got through cashier & wheeled the oversized, heavy , opened box to customer service. This rude girl Amy was there and we were struggling with the item she just glared at us and turned her back. Heather was there on the phone & we waited for her. She was very friendly and helpful again. She had tape and sealed it up for us. We went out to front door and could not find the loading guy. So we loaded it onto our trailer. Another customer asked if we needed help but we thanked him and did it ourselves as he was dressed nicely and we did not want him to get dirty. I have been to their Optical dept,. too and they are rude and act like they are doing me a favor to wait on me. I noticed they do the same to others too. There was 1 nice lady there but I did not get her name. My question why is so hard to get friendly helpful service at this Costco? Are they treated badly by management? No customer training? I am not there to spend alot of $$$ just to be abused.
