  Poor craftsmanship and very abrasive owner!. First off they do not template. Every counter-top I have ever had installed, the installer will come out and create a template first. They accomplish this by either using wood strips or a laser templating machine. This is to insure that the counter top fits correctly against the wall and has the proper overhangs. FAB does not do this. They simply measure and hope for the best. When their way of doing things fails and you end up large gaps at the wall as well as ridiculously inconsistent overhangs, the owner will blame you for being hard to please. He will then try to blame it on the wall. The counter top overhang goes from 1 inch on one end to over 2 inches on the other. The wall has nothing to do with this error. Trust me, if you want a professional job GO ELSEWHERE!
